Anyone running HockeyPuck?

Michiel van Baak
Hi all,

Is anyone here running hockeypuck?
If so, which version etc?

I know it's a bit off-topic, but the hockeypuck mailinglist looks pretty
dead to me.

I'm running it.  The address is keyserver2.brian.minton.name:11371
(IPv6 only), if you want to try it out.  I'm using the postgresql JSONB
backend, which seems to perform better than the MongoDB backend.  The
DB usage is more or less steady, at about 32 GB.  I'm using version
2.0~rc2~1437340522+54df397, on Debian stretch.

Thanks for the info. I cannot connect to that machine, but no problem.
I finally got it working, turns out the go dependencies list inside the
git repository is outdated and some bugfixes that fix crashes etc went
into the subpackages later on.

I added it as a second backend server for key searches on
keyserver.vanbaak.eu for now.
stats, and POST queries still go to the sks server only for now.
I will change this as soon as I configure the stats template etc in
hockeypuck.

Let's see how this works out for the next couple of weeks. Things look
promising (performance and resource usage is a lot better for now.)

For those interested, I created a FreeBSD port so it's easier to
install:
