Backup made with --no-encryption and GnuPG passphrase prompt

duplicity-talk mailing list
Hello,

duplicity 0.7.11 (Ubuntu 16.04)

I made a new backup with --no-encryption (and --no-compression).
On verify without --use-agent, a "GnuPG passphrase" prompt appears !

Hitting enter yields:

Cannot use empty passphrase with symmetric encryption!  Please try
again.

If I hit say, 'x' and enter, then verification seems to resume normally.

Richard,

You need the --no-encryption and --no-compression options on verify as well.
