FreeMono roman "S", "s" [.ttf] now slanted

Benjamin Slade-3
As of recent versions of the fonts-freefont, the FreeMono font
roman typeface lowercase "s" and uppercase "S" both appear as per the
italic typeface (in the ttf font).

Hi Benjamin,

First, could you open a bug report at
    https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=freefont
(It's best to make a savannah account, then you can be informed of progress on the report.)

I don't see this effect though.
Please report:
* FreeFont version
* application program you are using, and version
* OS version
