Re: service interuptions

Hi,

I run sks.mj2.uk.

I've introduced a few things in haproxy including master node auto
failover (failover master node will recon with the master node until
the master node falls down, then the failover node will recon with
normal peers).

I need to run a couple of tests that may cause service interruptions
(take down the master node).

Will post a blog entry with the latest config upon completion.

Kind Regards,
Mike

Unless I'm reading things wrong it would appear that your keyserver is
no longer peering with external peers (number of keys keeps dropping)

https://sks-keyservers.net/status/ks-status.php?server=sks.mj2.uk

Ok, that's something the haproxy health check doesn't look for in the
health check...

sks-db was up on master, but sks-recon was down.

I'll have to add a health check for the recon service, this way if the
recon is down the master is replaced.

I must have forgotten to switch it back on after testing and enabling
the master node.

Kind Regards,
Mike
