chattr attributes not getting backed up

Norman
I strongly believe that rdiff-backup is the perfect backup solution
(if encryption is not needed). But, just like rsync, it fails to back
up the chattr attributes. Anyone knows of a workaround to this issue?
Thanks. Norman

Hi Norman. Are you sure you have installed pyxattr library
(https://pyxattr.k1024.org)?

If yes, can you increase the rdiff-backup verbosity and paste the
initialization message in which rdiff-backup prints what features are
supported on a given system?
